3Jane funds credit facilities for U.S. fintech lenders through USD3. We have grown USD3 in step with those facilities, opening deposits as each new facility was structured, and USD3 has remained highly utilized as a result.
Promises open that growth to anyone. A promise is a commitment to deposit USDC into USD3 when 3Jane calls for it to fund a new facility, which secures you access to USD3 in the future. In traditional finance, that commitment comes only from fund LPs and banks bound by legal agreements. On 3Jane, you stake 7.5% of the promise today, and the remainder rests on your creditworthiness. Because the commitment is undercollateralized, 3Jane pays you for that creditworthiness immediately, up to 40% USDC APY on your stake plus $JANE emissions. The liquidity mining program has emitted 144.5M $JANE to date (2.17%–13.00% of final supply) and pays ~2,300 wallets each week, with most TVL in USD3 ($78.6M), YT-USD3 ($56.2M) and 3Jane's Morpho markets ($51.5M). From here, LCC is the primary use case for emissions, and referrals boost them on both sides.
How referrals work
The value of a promise depends on the likelihood that it is kept. A Cred score estimates that likelihood from an address's public onchain history, including borrowing and repayments, liquidations, wallet health and age, on a scale of 300 to 1,000 with no KYC. 3Jane will use Cred scores to set promise terms, with up to 5x higher promise APY and more promise leverage for the most creditworthy addresses. Onchain credit scores have existed for years without a permissionless product that pays anyone for a good one, and referrals are the first place a score pays on 3Jane. Anyone on the internet can invite others to make a promise, and the higher the Cred scores of the people they bring in, the more $JANE both sides earn. When someone makes their first LCC promise through your link:
- You earn a share of a weekly $JANE pool, weighted by their Cred score.
- They earn up to 1.25× $JANE on their own promise.
What you earn
Each week, 50,000 $JANE is split among referrers in proportion to the $JANE their referrals' promises earn, so larger and longer-held promises count for more. Each referral is weighted by its Cred score:

Two friends who promise the same amount at scores of 810 and 620 count 2.7× and 1× toward your share. Your own Cred score plays no part.

The boost is paid on top of the $JANE their promise already earns, outside the referral pool.
The pool grows with referrals
Until promises made through referral links total $10M, the pool stays fixed at 50,000 $JANE a week, so each referred dollar earns more while the total is small. Past $10M, the pool grows in proportion and each referred dollar earns a steady rate. At equal Cred scores, a $1M referral earns its referrer 10,000 $JANE a week while the total is under $5M, settling at 5,000 a week from $10M.
Making a promise
As an example, a $75,000 stake backs a promise of $1,000,000 into USD3. Until 3Jane calls, the stake earns:
- 20.77% USDC APY, the Promise Staking APY on the USDC facility
- +20.00% USDC APY from a temporary promise incentive, until Nov 24, 00:00 UTC
- 25.0%–150.0% $JANE APY at a $250M FDV, boosted up to 1.25× when you join through a referral
When 3Jane calls, you fund your share in USDC within 9 days and receive USD3, which earns USD3 yield plus a 0.75% funding bonus through its 35-day cooldown. Missing a call puts your stake at risk.
Promise Looping
You don't need the full promise on hand. With Promise Looping, a Morpho loan against the USD3 a call delivers covers up to 84% of the call, so $160,000 of DeFi assets can back the same $1,000,000 promise:

How to make a promise
- Open a referral link, or paste a code under Add code in the Promise dialog.
- Connect a wallet that has never staked on LCC. Connecting needs no signature.
- Click Promise on the USDC facility. 3Jane checks your address's DeFi assets in real time.
- Stake USDC or USDT. The minimum promise is $25,000.
- Set Loop leverage (up to 6.25×), check that the Referrer row shows the code and your referral boost, then approve and stake.

Rules
- Referrals apply to LCC promises only.
- A referral counts when a wallet that has never staked on LCC makes its first promise through your link, staking USDC or USDT. The first referrer is final.
- No referrer earns more than 20% of a week's pool.
- The referral boost applies on top of the $JANE emissions for making a promise, up to 1.25×.
- Referral rewards last at least one month on promised funds, on both sides, with the option to extend.
- A new referral earns from the next weekly epoch. Cred scores are read at the start of each week.
- Self-referrals are prohibited. This includes referrals between wallets you control. Violations may result in disqualification and forfeiture of unclaimed rewards.
- Rewards are paid weekly in locked $JANE, claimable on the Farm page.

Does my own Cred score change what I earn as a referrer?
No. Only your referrals' scores weight your share. Your own score sets your boost only when you join through someone else's link.
What if someone I referred unstakes or misses a call?
Your share follows the $JANE their promise earns, so it shrinks along with their promise. There is nothing for you to do.
Can I fund a call with USDC from USD3?
Fund calls with USDC held outside USD3. Funding a call with USDC withdrawn from USD3 forfeits future promise fees.
What is the temporary promise incentive?
An extra 1.5% promise fee that 3Jane pays on every promise until Nov 24, 00:00 UTC. At 13.33× promise leverage, it adds 20.00% to the Promise Staking APY.
